He has over 20 years experience of having worked in various Premier Institutes in India &amp; in U.K and he holds final specialist Orthopedic degrees from both the countries.<\/p>\n<div class=\"col medium-6 small-12 large-6\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-animate=\"fadeInLeft\" data-animated=\"true\">\n<div class=\"col-inner\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has done his <span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">Postgraduate\u00a0<span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">Orthopedic<\/span><\/span>\u00a0training at <span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India.<\/span> He also has experience of working as a faculty at <span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">St Johns Medical College Hospital Bangalore, India<\/span> for over 6 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col medium-6 small-12 large-6\">\n<div class=\"col-inner\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He received British Council Sponsorship for higher training in\u00a0<span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">Orthopedics\u00a0at U.K<\/span><span style=\"color: #333399;\">.<\/span> He spent about 9 years in the UK gaining valuable experience in Joint Replacement Surgery of both Hip and the Knee. He has obtained two advanced fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty, specializing in the fields of Computer aided <span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">Joint Replacement and Revision Joint Replacement in the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has organized conferences on joint replacement surgery, which included live demonstrations. He has done podium presentation at various national and international Orthopedic meetings. He has been invited as faculty in conferences. He has written scientific articles on <span style=\"color: #2f4e6f;\">lower limb arthroplasty and limb reconstruction<\/span>. He attends various CME sessions to keep himself updated on recent advances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Basavaraj routinely uses Computer assistance for all the knee replacements. Computer assistance during joint replacement surgery would make sure that the surgeon is more precise.
